Practical guidance, community support, and resources to help single dads navigate solo parenting.
The Solo Dad Playbook
Hi, I’m Todd.
In 2016, my life reset. I went from a large house, mowing a yard to a two-bedroom apartment, carrying a car seat up the stairs and changing diapers for my one-year-old daughter while trying to comfort my seven-year-old son.

I was unprepared. I survived on frozen pizzas and spaghetti, battled high-conflict co-parenting, and tried managing my anxiety and eventual panic attacks with alcohol and weed. Life didn't let up—I navigated lockdown in my tiny apartment, lost my father, and later survived a year of unemployment. I juggled bills while on state financial assistance, but made sure child support was paid every month.

Through it all, training jiu-jitsu kept me grounded, gave me community, and taught me resilience. It taught me to stop panicking and start building systems.
That experience is why I created The Solo Dad Playbook.

I built this platform to share the advice, systems, and strategies I wish I had found sooner. I want to save you from the mistakes I made and create a place where single dads can come together to share our experiences.
Whether you are just starting over or trying to find your footing, you don't have to figure this out alone. Welcome to The Solo Dad Playbook!
